Wonderful full page 1951 Samsonite Luggage Ad, featuring 'Fashion's First Women'~including revered designer Ceil Chapman! Singer Jo Stafford is paired with Sapphire Blue train case, Designer Ceil Chapman with Admiral Blue train case, and Socialite Mrs. Walter Bedford Sharp, Jr. is shown with the same case in Bermuda Green. Each woman has a brief bio and sepia-toned photo (great reference). Across the bottom of the ad are all pieces in the 'Fashiontone' line in a Natural Rawhide finish (as well as Saddle Tan and Colorado Brown) with pricing. This ad would look wonderful framed! The page measures 13 1/4" x 11", and is in Excellent condition. Page is not cropped; photo reflects scanner limits only. Ad will be shipped flat in a rigid sleeve and bubble mailer for a safe journey.
