Exotic vintage red & white Tapa print cotton Barkcloth Hawaiian MuuMuu dress, from one of the finest Island clothing makers, Liberty House of Hawaii, circa mid-1950s (no Made in USA tag, dating it to pre-statehood days). In business in Hawaii beginning in 1850, Liberty House of Hawaii designs were considered one of the premiere makers of fine native crafted garments. The dress is as cute as can be~square neckline with high yoke, both front and back; full bell sleeves, edged in cotton crochet-style lace, and figure flattering A-line shape brushing the top of the knee. Long white metal center back zipper with hook and eye closer at the neck. The dress is in Near Mint condition, fresh, bright and immaculate. No wear, with unlaundered neck tag and original sizing in the fabric. Measurements: Bust 35", Hip 38", Shoulder 15 1/2", Dress Length 36" (top of shoulder seam to hem edge).
