Marvelous full color nearly 1/2 page sized ad for 'Weathervane' rayon suits by Handmacher-Vogel, New York. These elegant suits have the 1950s 'Grace Kelly' style, with nipped in waists, peblum jackets and pencil skirts--form fitting and so Fifth Avenue! Carefully removed from the August 1951 issue of Ladies Home Journal, the ad (page 127) is in Excellent undamaged condition. The ad tagline is 'Weathervane...to wear from season to season', with these high-fashion designs being priced at an 'Unbelieveable...$25.'! Beautiful collectible fashion reference ad.
