Exquisite Art Deco potmetal dress clip, with incredible blue Rose-cut Art Glass cabochon center! Rose-cutting was a very popular style during the Deco era, with the flat table of the stone placed down and the point upward, pyramid style. This stunning Art Glass stone is flanked by three large white baguettes on each side and two additional smaller baguettes as well as a diamond-shaped rhinestone are set on the bottom half of the clip. The rest of the Deco design is encrusted by small white paste rhinestones. The larger baguettes that flank the center stone are very, very slightly yellowed--hardly worth mentioning as it does not distract from the overall beauty of the dress clip. The rest of the stones are brilliant and white, and all original, with no dead or dark stones. This stunning dress clip measures 1 1/2" long and would make a wonderful edition to any dress clip collection or to wear with your most fabulous gown. It is in Excellent condition, with minor wear and discoloration to the clip back metal only, normal and consistent with its age and travels.
