RUNE TENNESMED-Sweden Pewter & COBALT Glass Cabochon Vintage Pendant Necklace

Stunning early 1960s vintage Rune Tennesmed-Sweden etched Pewter pendant, set with an unusual Rosecut cobalt blue glass cabochon. Rosecutting puts the flat table of the cabochon on the bottom and the pointed faceted end on the top, creating depth to the cabochon and enriching the color by the movement of light through the glass. The Pewter pendant measures 1 1/2", signed with the 'RTenn-Sweden' signature used on Rune's earliest pieces. It is suspended from a 28" open link chain, also commonly found on Tennesmed jewelry of that era (the brass jump ring holding the pendant is obviously a replacement and could be changed to silvertone, if desired). This beautiful collectible pendant necklace is in Excellent condition, with only a bit of normal age-related patina to the Pewter finish--not a distraction to the beauty of this incredible pendant necklace. It has no wear, flaws or damages.
