Sophisticated 'Continental' style 1950's Damon-Made in Italy fine black wool knit dress. Can't you just SEE Deborah Kerr wearing a dress like this in the movie 'An Affair to Remember'? This luxurious knit dress has an overlapping V neckline, the bodice with a contrast knit trim in red and cream all the way to the waist. The darted bodice is seamed, front and back, with decorative flap pockets at the front of the hip (also trimmed in red and cream knit). Three quarter sleeves and long metal back zipper, with hook and eye neck closer. This wonderful wool dress is in Excellent condition, with no damage or wear, fading, pulls or repairs. The size tag has been removed, so please read the maximum body measurements carefully: Bust 34", Hip 36" (light stretch to fabric will give a bit) Shoulders 16", Dress Length 37 1/2" (top back of collar to hem edge).
