Vintage rayon satin moire' taffeta Swing party dress with the look and feel of 'watered silk'! The styling on the dress is wonderful, the black taffeta bodice with rounded neckline and ruched short sleeves piped in narrow ivory satin cording. The dress has a dropped waist and three outrageous large ivory and black polka dot bows down the front of the dress-the last one right at the lowered waistline! The ivory taffeta skirt is gathered and very full, with the appearance of unpressed pleats and lined with sheer tulle netting, giving it a GREAT swishy sound (close-up photo of the netting). Original metal zipper in center back. This 'American Accent-Made in USA' dress is tagged a vintage Size 12, with measurements: Bust 31 1/2", Undefined Waist, Hip 34" (with lower skirt fullness), Dress Length 38". Dry Clean Only. A couple of less then pinhead sized soil marks along the hem edge (easily spot cleaned and not a distraction), it is in Excellent condition, with both the taffeta and the netting perfect. No holes or stains.
