Elegant Louis XVI style bureau de pente/ drop top desk in walnut. Lovely decorative inlay on sides and top when closed. Decorative brass hardware on the drawers and bottom pf each leg. The back leg has been repaired(please see photo). When opened the top surface is held with two extensions which slide out. Very simple yet functional and beautiful piece. Please feel free to request more photos. Imported from the sarthe region of France. Circa: 1900 Dimensions height 40 1/2 inches, width 33 1/2 inches and depth closed 18 inches, opened 39 inches.
