Here we have a nice Sterling Silver porringer which probably dates to the 1920's. It is a copy of earlier porringers from the 1600's & 1700's. This is a serious porringer, and is made to be used as it measures about 4,3/4" in diameter, and is about 1,3/4" deep. The porringer is not engraved, but it does have a few minor dents around the side where the little tyke has banged it on the table asking for more porridge! The Coins are shown for size comparison only.
