This handwoven linen sheet survives from the 1850's in very good shape for it's age. It measures approximately 50 x 77 inches. The loom it was made on was only 25 inches wide, so the maker sewed two sections togeather to make the sheet 50 inches wide. The makers initials - E.L.C. - are sewn into one corner. Also shown are the very few stains. The sheet has no holes as hand repairs have been made thru the years. Well used, but still heavy. Perfect for that Antique bed.
