They are similar in age, 100+ years old, framed at the same time - 1960's, and have houses near the edge of a lake,and a Church. It was published by Fischel, Adler & Schwartz, New York. The print measures about 9 by 24 inches, and the frame measures about 20,1/4 by 34,1/2 inches. A great piece of Art from the past.

This is a serious porringer, and is made to be used as it measures about 4,3/4" in diameter, and is about 1,3/4" deep. The porringer is not engraved, but it does have a few minor dents around the side where the little tyke has banged it on the table asking for more porridge! This beautiful Sterling Silver Creamer & Sugar was crafted in the style of the Queen Anne period of about 1760. The creamer stands about 3,5/8" tall, and the sugar 3,1/4" at the handles. The mark on the bottom is "B & M Sterling 19." B & M is the mark for Baldwin & Miller, manufacturing Silversmiths of Newark, New Jersey. The number 19 being the style mark.The pair is in good shape, with no dents or major scratches. It was probably crafted in the 1920's.

This great Flow Blue plate was made by the English firm of Burgess & Leigh. They were in operation between 1891 - 1919. This plate measures about 7,3/4" in diameter and is free from any chips, cracks, and has no crazing. A few scratches are evident in the middle of the plate from use. An example of this pattern is shown on page 94, plate 204, of Mary Frank Gaston's: "Collector's Encyclopedia of Flow Blue China." A Beautiful plate.

Here is one of the nicest pieces of Flow Blue I have ever seen. The pattern is "Nankin" by Doulton. It has the Doulton mark used from 1891-1902. The soup bowl measures slightly over 10" in diameter. With the exception of a few minor scratches in the bowl, and slight Gold wear on the rim, the bowls are in superb condition - no chips, cracks, crazing, or staining. An example of this pattern is pictured on plate 207 of Mary Frank Gaston's second series book of Flow Blue. Two examples available.

This intriguing Bronze or Brass Statue of a Woman measures almost 7 inches tall. The green patina is natural, and her nose, mouth, and breasts have been flattened a bit. The Statue came from an Estate that had other Antiquities. Possibly of Egyptian, Lurisan or ?? origin. Obviously sand cast by the lost wax method. There is a bubble cavity behind her right leg. A very intriguing, neat statue - age?? I do not know.

This is a Cover for a Feather Comforter. The machine made Gingham cloth is accented by what I believe to be hand made buttons. The buttons are round rings of metal which have been covered with thread. The buttons are well worn, but the cover seems to be in good shape with no holes. The cover measures about 68" x 56". It looks to be from the late 1800's or early 1900's.

This is a nice hand crafted Coin Silver Strainer which might be from the late 1700's, but certainly no later than the middle 1800's. The Strainer measures almost 7" long, with the bowl being 2,3/4" x 3,1/4" and 1" deep. The handle has been bent, and bent back in place as seen in the photos. I cannot identify the mark, even though it looks similar to I. Smith(1742-1789), from Boston, Mass. The Silver Dollar is for size comparison. A nice original 150+ year old hand crafted Coin Silver creation!

This beautiful tumbler stands 3,3/4 inches tall and is made of Custard glass. I don't know the pattern, but the Custard color is vibrant. The rose looks good. This handwoven linen sheet survives from the 1850's in very good shape for it's age. It measures approximately 50 x 77 inches. The loom it was made on was only 25 inches wide, so the maker sewed two sections togeather to make the sheet 50 inches wide. The makers initials - E.L.C. - are sewn into one corner. Also shown are the very few stains. The sheet has no holes as hand repairs have been made thru the years. Well used, but still heavy. Perfect for that Antique bed.
