Flow Blue Doulton Nankin Soup Bowl

$135 USD Offers ConsideredFlow Blue Doulton Nankin Soup Bowl

Porcelain:Antique
Here is one of the nicest pieces of Flow Blue I have ever seen. The pattern is "Nankin" by Doulton. It has the Doulton mark used from 1891-1902. The soup bowl measures slightly over 10" in diameter. With the exception of a few minor scratches in the bowl, and slight Gold wear on the rim, the bowls are in superb condition - no chips, cracks, crazing, or staining. An example of this pattern is pictured on plate 207 of Mary Frank Gaston's second series book of Flow Blue. Two examples available.

Here we have a Flow Blue Covered vegetable dish in the "Pagoda" pattern by J & G Meakin. The dish appears to have been used little, as there is no staining, crazing, chips, or cracks. There is a glaze pop inside the bowl. Other than that, everything else is pristine. The dish has the Meakin mark from 1890+
