The Patriotic Order Sons of America was organized December 10, 1847 to preserve the Public School System, the Constitution of the United Sates and our American way of life. The P. O. S. of A. was incorporated by an Act of the Pennsylvania State Legislature, February 27, 1867 and one of its historic services to the nation was the saving of President George Washington's Headquarters at Valley Forge and the surrounding grounds.

Here I have a hallmarked 10K gold and enamel medal/pendant manufactured around the turn of the century. Measuring 11/16" x 3/4" (to top of bale NOT jump ring) and weighing 2.3 grams, this hallmarked charm features a front of lime-green gold and enamel, while the reverse is ROSE gold! In the center of the medal, one can discern the profile of General Washington.

The pendant is in excellent condition with absolutely no defects whatsoever! A fabulous ANTIQUE find in pristine condition! Anyone want?
