Measuring 1" x 1-1/*' and weighing 8.9 grams, this hallmarked (on the back) CREED sterling silver medal of St. Joseph and the Infant Jesus dated to the 1960s (or thereabouts) and is in pretty nice shape for its age.

The medal shows just a touch of flattening on the noses but nothing that is noticeable unless you get your loupe out. The finish on the charm is rhodium which means it hasn't taken on a dark, mellow patina as yet. The back of the medal DEFINITELY needs a jewelers polish to take out all the surface marks and the front does need a good clean.

A nice medal - perfect to wear on a chain or a charm bracelet. Anyone want?
