Antique Rare Leather and Silver Plated Traveling Inkwell

This little gem is a great conversation piece at home or the office. The traveling inkwell has a silver pleated hinged lid. When opened by pushing the outside thumb spring button, it reveals another lid with an embossed bird carrying a letter. Opening the spring button reveals the original glass ink pot. The exterior of the pot is covered in leather which is fairly worn. It is a rare and interesting piece of art. The measurements are approximately 1 ½” by 1 5/8”.
