Three-piece Cornish Pewter Tea Pot, sugar bowl and creamer dated c.1927. Teapot has a composite handle, with thumb piece, hinged lid with button knopf, and stands on stepped foot, the bases are stamped with “++ over trade mark; Trumpet & Banner over James Dixon & Sons arched over Sheffield Cornish Pewter W1703 Made in England.” These trademarks date from 1927c, then "4" possibly for capacity in imperial half pints on the teapot. The sugar bowl has 1 1/2; the cream jug has 1/3. All three pieces have fared well over the past 80+ years. The interior of the teapot is clean as is the jug and interior of the sugar bowl. They have all acquired a mellow antique patina. No dents or repairs, just normal surface blemishes that commensurate with the age. Measurements approximately: Teapot-5 ¼” in height and diameter; bowl and jug-3 ½”.
