Antique Large Chinese Carved Ivory Lohan, Very Unusual!

Large Chinese well-carved ivory Lohan; seated on an openwork throne and holding his robes open to reveal the head of Buddha in his belly, seal mark (age crack); H: 7'', attached to his wood stand. c 1900. I believe these select ivory pieces have the potential to continue to appreciate, making them attractive not only because of pride of ownership, but also because of possible future appreciation.
