Jimmy Lovejoy is featured in several museums, especially those that are "cowboy museums" or Western Art. This particular sculpture appealed to me not only for artistic value and the portrayal of motion, but because of the subject matter. I personally felt a kinship to the grizzled old rider, stubbornly riding a bucking bronco in spite of his age. I couldn't get the photos to show it, but he is actually partially lifted out of the saddle realistically. This is a large piece, approximately 16 inches tall, 15 inches across, and 14 inches deep. It is in Very Good Condition, with no losses.
