Signed "O Svenson" for the well-listed Danish artist Ove Svenson (born 1880). He traveled to Germany, Paris and Italy. He exhibited on the Musée de Beaux Arts in Liège in Belgium in 1964 and on a number of Danish exhibitions.

Here we offer a wonderful painting of Copenhagen, which will evoke fond memories in so many people, as it has in me.. To the left is the exchange (the oldest still in function) and the tower of the parliament. The dome in the background is that of the parliament's church. It is a winter's day and the ground is covered in snow. On the street is a streetcar.

Age: The painting is from the early 20th century.

Medium: The painting is a genuine oil painting on canvas

Size without frame: The picture is 89 cm / 35 inches high and 119 cm / 47 inches wide. The frame itself is 8 cm / 3 inches wide.

Condition: The painting is in good condition with slight surface grime and minor abrasions. The beautiful wooden frame in good condition with general signs of wear (There was some glare from the flash.)
