Pictures do not do justice to this exquisite cameo. It is very well carved, with great attention paid to the flowers; the hair; and the expression. It has a lovely translucency, with colors of a warm caramel to ivory and a soft lemon. This can be used as a pin or a pendant. I have not cleaned it, which it could definitely use. There is some expected age wear. It is a large piece, approximately 2.25" tall X 1.75" Wide. I believe it was reset in its present bezel in the early 20th Century, since the bezel is white gold. I believe the cameo itself is from the 19th Century.
