This marvelous large Lladro - "Two Elephants" - should be a focal point of your collection. It looks to me to be a mother and baby. It's Spanish name is "Elefantes Co Su Cria". It was sculpted by Fulgencio Garcia. It was issued in 1971, and retired in 1999. It's last retail price listed in the Lladro Authorized Reference Guide, 2003 to 2004 Edition, was $440, but it has been going up steadily since then. There is some glare from the flash because of the glazed finish, but I can find no damage or losses. It is signed and dated 11/18/79, and has the official Lladro stamp. Measures: 11 5/8" in height, about 10 1/4" across the base. It is in Very Good Condition with no losses.
