Wonderful Original Oil Painting Signed Byron Browne. George Byron Browne (1907-1961) well listed, including Davenport's, with paintings listed to over $17,000. This Piece Has the Title 'Muse', and Shows a Nude Female Figure Standing in the Garden, leaning Against a Rock or Stump. On the back of the Piece the Artist has Signed the Piece again and Given the Title "Muse", also noting he painted this piece in Provincetown Cape Cod. There is also an Old Gallery Label From Paintings and Drawings Limited of New York, Giving the Artist & Title. Actual Image Measures: 17-1/2" Tall and 13-3/4" Wide.
