This is a beautiful summertime exterior with a fisherman and a girl in the foreground.
He is wearing a blue jacket and a hat and is busily engaged with repairing some fishing nets that hang over the wooden drying racks to the right.
Behind him the fair-haired girl stands, holding a stick. Behind her a couple of rowing boats have been hauled up on the beach.
In the far background on the opposite side of the sea there is a large, over-grown steep slope.
This idyllic scene is painted with the artistry that has made Niels Walseth work so popular, and in such demand. Enjoy the fine depiction of the people, the landscape, and the wonderful bright blue sky.
A painting (oil on canvas) in Very Good Condition. It has a lovely and appropriate gilt and ornamented wood frame.
It is signed Niels Walseth in the lower right corner and is ready to hang.
