Metal Mixed Media Sculpture - Middle Eastern or African Woman

This is one of those items that one either loves or hates. I happen to think it offers more than one may originally think. I like the anatomy; the lordosis of the back; the rather casual posture one sees many times when a Native carries quite a heavy burden on her head. (I couldn't carry a huge load like that in my hands; much less on my head!) The mixture of nuts and bolts may, perhaps, be a statement of how mechanically we may function on a daily basis. At any rate, any piece of art that makes one think or wonder or respond has served its purpose, in my never humble opinion! I am trying to understand the signature, in metal, on the base. If anyone is familiar with the artist, please let me know. This measures 16 inches tall, and is in Very Good Condition.
