This fascinating Meissen porcelain sculpture is pictured in Plate 6, on Page 73, 3rd Row, in the Meissen Collector's Catalogue by Laurence Mitchell. The Meissen artists depicted the senses in a number of different pieces; some with cherubs; some with lavishly dressed and coiffed women; and then in this type of surreal presentation. Notice the lobster at her feet; and the hand at her feet. This is a large piece, 11 inches tall. It is in Very Good Condition, with no losses. First Quality Piece. Crossed Swords with Pommels.
