The mountains pictured all around seem to change in mood and climate. At one point, one can almost feel heat rising as a red haze from the base. There is a mountain top that appears almost to be a smoldering volcano. The colors of some mountains remind me of desert colors in the Grand Canyon, or the Painted Desert. And some relatively unchanging in their slate color look like the scene when one lands in Denver. in that they appear almost drawn in the distance. The dome is not rounded; rather it has a shallow "valley" that could be graced with a small fresh blossom for effect. There is a good amount of glass on the top. On the bottom there is a felt-type material to avoid table or shelf damage, but the felt is worn. The piece itself is in Very Good Condition. It measures about 3 inches across, and 2 and 1/2 inches tall.
