Antonio Borsato at his best!This piece is not listed in any of the catalogs for the United States, and was probably released only in Europe. It is quite similar to the Round-Up released here. This piece conveys raw strength and emotion. At well over a foot tall (13 and 3/4 inches) it is a focal point in any room or display cabinet. Borsato was the premier porcelain sculpture of the 20th Century. He died in an auto accident in 1982. He was painstaking in his attention to detail. This typifies his expertise, with anatomy perfect and expressions remarkable.
