This marvelous vase was personally executed by the hand of Steven Lundberg. This rare form allows the bust to the base dimension quite unique. We have another very similar to this also listed, but comparison shows the differences.... The waviness of the lines; slight difference in size; each piece a work of art different from the others. The spiralling varied green and tan interwoven strands blend perfectly, and are further offset by the vibrant red to oxblood bordering. The vase is topped by a brilliant ivory tapered mouth lined with a magnificent caramel. It is in Excellent Condition. It is 5.38 inches tall and 2.38 inches wide. Comes with two signed authentications. This is a thing of incredible and striking beauty. I would expect it to appreciate over the years, but just to have a thing of beauty such as this to live with and enjoy is in itself worth the price. Steven Lundberg's Glass Art is on display in the Smithsonian Institute, the White House, the Corning Museum of Glass, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Philadelphia Museum, and many others. He is arguably the modern day Tiffany. Unfortunately, Mr. Lundberg recently passed away from his advanced ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). The art world has lost a great art glass master. We have not yet started to raise the prices on the Steven Lundberg art glass pieces that we have, but I would anticipate significant price raises in the future.
