This incredible vase was a collaboration and joint effort of Steven Lundberg and his son Justin. It is one of the last items personally executed by the hand of Steven Lundberg. This unique fluted, ruffled vase exudes the power and the anger of the giant wave itself! The subtle cream caps rise upon a sea of turquoise and green hues, offset by the stunning sapphire base, and gold to turquoise inner ruffle. It is in MINT condition. It is 7 inches tall and a bit over 4 inches wide. Comes with two signed authentications. This is a thing of incredible and striking beauty. I would expect it to appreciate over the years, but just to have a thing of beauty such as this to live with and enjoy is in itself worth the price. Steven Lundberg's Glass Art is on display in the Smithsonian Institute, the White House, the Corning Museum of Glass, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Philadelphia Museum, and many others. He is arguably the modern day Tiffany. Unfortunately, Mr. Lundberg no longer can create these masterpieces due to his advanced ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). I love his work so much, and certainly hope for a miracle for him.
