This incredible R. Lalique is rarely seen, even at the most prestigious auctions. It is so intricately fashioned; it was hard to only put the limit of 8 pictures in this listing. Pride of ownership....... love of beauty ..... or investment minded collector .......... I believe this will continue to appreciate in years to come. It is in Excellent Condition. Please ignore the flash reflection; I am a better collector than photographer! It was appraised in 2001 by Nicholas M. Dawes, for $16,000, plus pointing out that a buyer's premium of 15% and applicable taxes would be added to that figure. As time has passed, I believe that estimate is much lower what it would be today, and have priced this accordingly.
