Cybis Porcelain "Thinking of You Heart Box"

Cybis has long been one the most respected and collected porcelains. Their fine artists hand paint each item, so no two pieces are identical. I have always taken great pains to compare every example of the same item, and pick the one that is painted the best. This means I have always paid full price, but have gotten the best examples. This delightful heart box is about 4 inches wide at the widest, and about 4 and 1/2 inches long. In addition to the lovely muted motif on the cover, the inside of the cover says "Thinking of You"....a subtle message that is not colored....meant to be that secret something between two friends or lovers. (Quite hard to photograph...tried to show it by taking the picture without a flash.) The entire rim of the bottom piece is exquisite as well. It has the Cybis signature on back, with date of "1975". Certainly this is a wonderful gift for nearly any occasion or, even better, for no occasion but sentiment. This is in Excellent Condition.
