REDUCED Antique Chinese Carved Ivory Figure, Father and Son or Teacher and Pupil

Yet another unbelievably detailed and fascinating piece. This is actually one of a pair (See Item 181) and the two should be sold together. Because of the price, I have listed them separately, as they certainly are costly; however, I would give a deep discount if both are purchased, to keep the pair together. The expressions on the faces are captivating, and the detail has to be seen to really appreciate it. There is paint loss; otherwise, the piece is in Fine Condition. It is attached to the base, which is also quite nicely decorated. I purchased these in 1985 in a New Orleans antique shop. The piece is approx 7 inches tall.
