Limoges Service Plates circa 1900, 10 pieces

This is truly an extraordinary collection of 24 carat Gold and Pure Silver Overlay Service Plates, probably from the late 1800's. I have only rarely seen an occasional comparable service plate in Europe through the years, at prices from $800.00 to $1800.00 EACH. I have never seen this number! (It actually started as 12 chargers (or service plates) but due to clumsiness, there are only 10 left....but still a fabulous number (consider a set of 10, or a set of 8 with 2 extras in case you are as clumsy as we are!) Each piece is between 10 1/2 and 10 3/4 inches. Pictures do not do justice to these magnificent pieces! No cracks or chips. Some wear (rubs) on a few plates as would be expected with plates of this age. Some reflection from the flash..not defects.
