Bossons - "Eskimo" - Great Vintage Wall Mask - From England, c 1970

$200 USDBossons - "Eskimo" - Great Vintage Wall Mask - From England, c 1970

Pottery:Bossons:"Eskimo":Wall Mask
This fabulous wall mask has been very popular throughout the world. The expression is simply great. This is a large wall mask, 8 inches tall. It is in Excellent Condition, save for the smallest rub on the back from hanging. These wall masks are wonderful collectibles at prices that are still reasonable. The correct approach for collectors is to remember that condition is extremely important for a piece to appreciate in value. Damaged pieces have a far smaller number of people who want them, and ...
SALE Bossons - "The Chef" - Great Wall Mask c 1970

$80 USD SaleSALE Bossons - "The Chef" - Great Wall Mask c 1970

Pottery:Bossons:"Chef":Wall Mask
This is one of the most popular wall masks from Bossons, in Congleton, England. However, you will note that this piece Chef's hat appears to be a light yellow instead of a stark white. I do not know if it has changed color due to age or if it was repainted. (If repainted, it was done extremely well). We have really reduced this significantly because of this. Bossons have become more and more sought after. They are still very affordable, and they are certainly very collectible.

He is pictured and referenced in The Imagical World Of Bossons by Robert E. Davis on Pages 63, 65, 68, 80, 85, 90, 93, 96, 97, 134 and 135. This piece is in Very Good ...

Pottery:Bossons:"Beefeater":Wall Mask
This wonderfully portrayed character wall mask was introduced in two models in 1966. This is the larger of the two, 8 inches high, with authentically portrayed medals for valor on the tunic. The Beefeaters, or Yeomen Warders, are more properly called The Queen's Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard. The most senior of the personal forces of the Monarch, the Queen's Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard is the oldest military corps in the world. Formally established nearly 500 years ago, it had ...
