RARE 1908 Large Willets Belleek Vase with Roses. Signed “Mama December 08” - probably a Christmas gift to the artist’s Mom! What a work of art!! This beautiful vase is 100% hand painted with the most beautiful (life like) burgundy, pink and white roses you have ever seen all around the vase. In my opinion, the talent of this artist is even beter than that of the most talented Limoges artist - which is very hard to beat! The background on this vase is amazing – it makes you think you are looking at the roses with the sky miles away in the background - such a neat effect. It is marked with the Willets Belleek mark (see picture). It measures 15 3/4” tall and approximately 5 1/4” in diameter. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
