Outstanding Early T&V Limoges Cake Plate with Roses. This handled cake plate has the old T&V (Tressemann & Vogt) mark (1892- 1907). The mark is listed as mark 7 in the Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges” – Third Edition by Mary Frank Gaston on page 293. It is very rare to find a piece of Limoges with this old mark. The roses on this cake plate are very realistic and very well executed. The background is various shades of yellow and green. Excellent condition (except for some very minor gold loss on the rim which is to be expected with age) with no chips, cracks or repairs. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
