This is an extraordinary Emeralite #9 desk lamp with a very rare base and shade. It is 17" high with an 8"diameter circular base. Connected to the very heavily weighted base is a wonderful case fluted and acanthus form shaft on lion headed claw feet. The shade is amber in color and etched in a fine concentric circle pattern with a band of vine etching around the opening. Both the base and the shade are signed emeralite. It is a wonderful rare lamp in near perfect condition.
