The Snake has Piercing Green Rhinestone Eyes. Lift Up on the Head and the Perfume Compact Opens with ease, the Hinge Works Well and it Closes with a Snap. It came with the two attached jump rings, so you could wear as a necklace as well. Book piece pictured in "Vintage and Contemporary Purse Accessories" by Roselyn Gerson. Condition is excellent with no wear to metal, the compact is empty. I have cleaned but some perfume smell remains when opened. Just as lovely placed on display, or dare to wear as a head turning necklace.
