An exquisite ornate example of a fob seal from the mid Victorian era. The amount of intricate decoration makes this a prize find for a collector. The seal portion is gold filled (it looks gold but does not test as such) the ring is a slightly brighter shade and was added to the fob, this large ring test strong for 14k. The carnelian stone is carved simply with a script initial "N" in a circle. Even if your initial is not N, this would make a wonderful addition to a charm bracelet or favorite chain. Measures 1 1/2" high by 3/4" wide. Condition is excellent with no wear or flaws to note, no chips or cracks to the stone.
