The WIZARD or Merlin- man with a crystal ball (actually lucite) is a ornately detailed JJ piece of fine miniature art.

He is silver colored pewter- with very long detailed thick hair- falling onto a robe with more detail on the cuffs.

His hand is strong and well done, holding a crystal ball. He is seen peering into it, his face carved into high cheekbones, strong thin nose and focused eyes.

On top of his head is a wizard's hat adorned with colored rhinestones and a larger circular rainbow cabochon.

He's an impressive size- 3 3/4 inches At his widest he's 2 1/4 inches-

When turned over you'll see a textured back with the letters "JJ".

He is in great condition. JJ is known to have the pins/brooches in this style have a wobble to their pinback which is normal for JJ.

It is interlocked in a sturdy way, although they all wobble- all that I've carried.

He has a good weight- Beautiful--

The company that created JJ or Jonette began in the late 30s. The name JJ was first used in 1970. The company has been out of business since 2006- so their pieces are going up in price and becoming more collectible.

They were quite creative creating humorous, interesting figurals...
