What sets this cameo apart from others- the wonderful Greek Key/fret design in the frame.

I'd describe this piece as striking. The gold toned frame with the black fret/key design- Ivory colored- and very well designed plastic cameo- set on a black disk.

The gold toned metal creating the frame measures 3/8's of an inch.

The black disk is 1 1/4 inches-

The entire pin measures 2 inches..

The materials of this pin are plastic and metal...

Notice the photos of the inner disk (see back)- the camera magnifies this mark..

When you rub your fingers across that spot- you can not feel anything rough- or worn..I think the best description is discoloration..

I've taken a few photos to show that depending how it is held, determines whether it looks lighter or darker. I've seen this type of discoloration on older pieces.
