We are offering an exceptional European portrait of a Saint. This is an oil painting depicting the man with eyes closed and head leaning forward. The quality is exceptional, as both the minute details and the overall appearance are remarkable. Please note the close-up photos of the facial features and the floral pattern on the robe...absolutely stunning! It is monogrammed along the bottom right edge...possibly Y.B. or F.B. We found references to a Ferdinand Bols, but have no attribution support for this artist. The frame is more recent and of rather rustic quality. The back paper is glued to the frame and we have not removed this to access the back of the painting. It measures approximately 10.5" x 8.5" framed and 6" x 5" unframed. It will make an excellent addition for the collector of fine art. Shipping for the USA is $24.
