Beautiful Elite Limoges pink dogwoods – hand-painted

This is a stunning piece of Limoges craftsmanship. The pink dogwoods are exquisitely hand-painted in a variety of tones of pink – from light pink to deep rose. The flower centers have a degree of detail rarely seen and the leaves offer a spectrum of colors and shading.

The mold used for this plate is subtly scalloped with low-relief details along the rim. The rim and border are both gilded.

The underside is stamped with ‘Elite, L, France’, Mark 5, used after 1900. This plate is in absolutely marvelous condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, or repairs.
