This is a stunning, hand-painted ‘Favorite Bavaria’ poppies plate. Three large poppies, done in rich terra cotta tones, dominate the plate. The artist has added wonderful contrast by painting soft green and bright green leaves, as well as, a light yellow background.

The colors are bright and vivid and I could see no surface scratches. This plate is in fantastic condition with absolutely no chips, nicks, cracks, or repairs. The gilding along the rim shows no wear.

The underside of the plate has a ‘Favorite Bavaria’ stamp along with the artist’s signature – ‘WANDS’.

Dimensions: 8.25” in diameter.
