SNOWBABIES, Dept 56 -- "My Gift for You" Ornament

This Snowbaby ornament comes in its own box. The box is a dark green with gold lettering. The back has a poem, which reads ... 'With so many things .. To remember and do, .. Take time to enjoy .. My gift to you.'

The box itself looks like a book, with gold edges, opening up to display a small bisque ornament. The ornament is secured tightly in place and lays in a satin bed.

The little bisque figure has a nicely detailed, smiling face and holds a gift. She has already earned her 'wings'.

The ornament hanger is an ivory colored ribbon, with raised 'Snowbaby' ivory lettering.

The production year was 1998. The piece was retired on 12/26/01. It is number IX in the ornament series. You will find it listed in the "Greenbook Guide to Dept 56 Snowbabies."
