SALE Antique Tray With Pressed Natural Butterflies & Plants 1890’s

This is a unique item. It is hand crafted by someone who was very creative, using dried and pressed butterflies, flowers and ferns. We believe even the background is made up of some sort of air borne seedlings pressed, perhaps on silk.

The frame is wood and the tray body measures 17 ¼” by 11 ½”. There is a note taped to the back (see pictures) which says “This is from about the 1890’s – belonged to my Great, Great Grandmother.”

Of course, all our items are clean and come from a smoke-free environment.
