I have never seen such exquisite detail – This Set of (2) Hand Carved Lions are resting on hand carved dark mahogany “Stepped” Wood Pedestals. The Lions feature exquisitely fine detailing, including full lustrous manes, whiskers, teeth, paws, eyebrows, eyes, tail and more. The Lions are very muscular as they are the “King of the Jungle”. The color of the ivory is beautiful and shows some aged patina.

The Pedestals are as lovely & regal as the statues, all hand-carved with felt pads on the bottom.

Measurements: Both Statures are 3” Long x 2 1/2” Wide. The width was measured at the Base.

Excellent Condition. Age: Circa 1940's.
