Vintage 1920’s Bottle Opener Alligator Biting African American Boy Falling off Log

This Vintage 1920’s Cast Iron Metal, Painted Bottle Opener features a boy standing on a log with an alligator nipping him on the backside. It looks like he’s losing his balance and has a look of “oh no” on his face. One of the boy’s feet is resting on a tree stump that is the actual bottle cap opener. Please see photos.

The Bottle Opener measures 4” Long x 2 1/2” Tall.

Age: 1920’s.

Under 10x power magnification it looks as though the alligator’s eye may have been enhanced but the remaining paint is original to the work with some vintage wear.

There are no breaks or repairs. Weighs 8 ounces.
