This is an Exceptional Antique Victorian Mourning Hair Locket in excellent condition. There are meticulously braided hair lockets enclosed under plastic on both sides of the locket. Created of sterling silver this domed and dimensional heart brooch is embellished with detailed leaves on both sides. The extra long C-Clasp Closure is in perfect working condition.

The plastic easily lifts out in the event you would like to replace the hair with your own photos or mementos.

The brooch has a rich earned patina. If you wish you can polish this piece to a high shine.

Measurements: 1 3/4 long x 1” wide.

Excellent Condition with the exception of a tiny ding which you can view in the photographs.

This is a fabulous antique treasure, from the Victorian Era – Late 1880’s.
