Vintage TOWLE Art Nouveau Bracelet Sterling Silver Floral

Prestigious Towle Manufacturing Co. is recorded as the oldest Silver Manufacturing Co. in the United States, dating back to the 17th Century. They created this Heavy Cast Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Bracelet with a smooth, oval cartouche, outlined with tiny sterling silver beads in the center, which is ready to engrave if you wish. The silversmithing is exceptional - with petite flowers and other scroll-like ornate decorations. The bracelet is 7/8” wide on center and the smooth sides taper down to the wrist opening.

The Bracelet fits a medium to large wrist with an inside measurement of 2 3/4”, and a 1” in wrist opening. The bracelet can be adjusted only slightly to make a bit smaller or larger – please note it can be adjusted a bit but not much so please make sure this size is appropriate for you in its present configuration.

The Bracelet weighs 1 3/4 ounces of Sterling Silver. Signed “TOWLE STERLING” on a rectangular plaque on the back. Excellent Condition. The Bracelet has been cleaned & polished but if you look closed there is a well earned patina in the crevices which serves to highlight the design beautifully. This Bracelet would make a find addition to any vintage bracelet collection.
